The water mechanic is a very basic placeholder mechanic to convey the difference of moving in a water surface. We used small amounts of water drag, buoyancy and impulse to create a subtle change to the movement mechanics. This would need more development if it were to be taken forward. The water particle effects that tank performance come from an asset pack, and is used to create spaces where there would be water pouring into the scene.

Ideally, we would have liked to create a fully custom set up with real time water physics, combined with particle effects to create a full immersive experience.
